Hello everyone!
Today is the 23rd....5 more days and i will have been gone for a month. One down, four to go! For as little for as we've had, its actually goin by pretty fast. So lets see...what's happened in the last couple days. We have been doing alot of cleaning up at he shop, taking inventory of what assetts we have, and going through all the junk we have. Looks likewe might get busy sometime next month, real busy, to the point where we may have another team come out and help us. That should make time go by much quicker. Hopefully everyone will be able to keep up with the workload if and when it does happen. Toda was very exciting...after work we all went and picked up our laundry again....fascinating eh? LOL...Other than that, I decorated my room a bt with pictures, patches, and some nice posters (thanks Jen and Natalie!!). It's amazing how much nicer it feels with some color on the walls. I also found a nice piece of plywood that's the perfect size to fit between my two nightstands to make a makeshift desk. It was really annoying not having anything to put the laptop and speakers on. We did have a bit of bad news this week...the base lost a soldier to a vehicle accident on base (non-combat related). None of us knew him, but still very sad news. I can't imagine what his buddies and family back home are going through. Other than that, we're just counting the days....I think after this weekend I will start going to the gym again....want to lose a little weight while I'm here, and some others started going reglarly so that will be good motivation. Anyways, hope you are all doing good! Oh yeah, I posted some new pictures and a few videos...a funny one, a couple tours of my work area and my room (before i decorated). Hope you enjoy! -Kicsi |
