So the other day after work, I went to the range with a few of my guys. One of the Army units I deal with regularly invited us to go to the range with with them. I wasnt able to go in the morning with the others, but joined them after work. We zeroed in our rifles and went through one of the Army qualifications. I scored 35/40, which is better than I though I would do. They will ask us to join them again next time, and said they may bring some more interesting weapons for us to play with instad of just our boring old M16s. Army standards must not be what they used to be, because I wasnt very impressed with some of their shooting abilities..lol.
Other than that, more of the same, work, eat, gym, sleep, repeat. Its been on and off raining and very windy for the past week or so, which is nice since the rain keps the dust/sand down...but man does it get muddy around here. We drove around base a bit and fund some good photo opportunities, once it clears up a bit I'll go bea tourist and take some more pictures, but here is one of me at the range...smiling like a little girl....
